Dr. Lily Talakoub
Dr. Lily Talakoub is a Board-Certified Dermatologist in Washington DC. She received her B.Sc. from McGill University and both her M.D. and Master of Public Health degrees from Boston University School of Medicine where she graduated cum laude and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She was awarded over 10 awards for excellence in dermatology, surgery and the prestigious leadership award from the American Medical Association. She completed her internal medicine residency at Stanford University followed by completion of a dermatology residency at University of California San Francisco. Her dermatology training was among some of the nations top dermatologists all internationally recognized for their contributions to the field of dermatology.
Dr. Talakoub is a Diplomat of the American Board-Certified Dermatologist and is a clinician educator for dermatology training at Georgetown University and Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Talakoub participated as a medical writer for ABC news and served in the Office of the US Surgeon General. She is affiliated with numerous professional societies including Women's Dermatologic Society, American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She has published articles in the field of cosmeceuticals, ethnic skin, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Talakoub's special interests include ethnic skincare, medical and cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery.

All evaluations and treatments are performed by Dr. Talakoub, a board certified dermatologist. We provide full skin checks with every visit given the increased epidemic of skin cancers such as melanoma. We thoroughly and attentively evaluate moles and changing skin lesions and can provide surgical expertise for skin cancer and mole removal to achieve the ideal cosmetic outcome. We are dedicated to making office visits as comfortable an experience as possible.
In addition, Dr. Talakoub believes in teaching her patients about their skin concerns and skincare. Her skincare education guidelines teach patients about at-home skin regimens and treatments to ensure long-term healthy skin.
We are conveniently located in downtown McLean adjacent to the Pulcinella Restaurant at 6849 Old Dominion Drive, Suite 340. Our office hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday and our SKINKURE Spa is also open Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM.
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Coventry and Medicare. We are out-of-network with other PPO insurance plans and will accept your insurance and submit the claim to your insurance as a courtesy. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
