Skin Tag

Skin Tag

Often located on the neck, chest, back, armpits, under breasts or in the groin area, a skin tag is a small flap of tissue that hangs off the skin.

Skin tags are not dangerous, or typically painful, but they can become irritated if anything rubs on them, such as clothing or jewelry.

Adults and children can develop skin tags; however, they are more commonly seen in adults.
